I know this community is pretty small but we've been getting a lot of spam so I've decided to make this a moderated community. I'm on almost every day so your actually related to Colm Feore posts will be approved quickly!
I just figured that we'd all prefer to see less Russian spam, you know?

I found this a few months ago. It's a few years old now but it goes for an hour and he is truly riveting as always!

Colm Feore will be appearing with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra on Sat. Feb. 27, 2010 at 7:30 pm as part of their New Creations Festival. He will be at a concert where the TSO is performing La Pasion Segun San Marcos by Osvaldo Golijov. I've heard this piece on the radio, and on a CD recording, and it is gorgeous IMHO.  You can hear samples at the eMusic page.  It is The Passion According to Saint Mark, a choral work with Latin American rhythms.  So I'm excited both about the piece of music and about Colm Feore being there. The TSO also has a concert with Paul Gross, an actor who, like Colm Feore, was in the tv series Slings and Arrows.  They have various ticket discount programs, including one for people under the age of 35 called tsoundcheck.

This is really exciting, so prepare to visit your cinema, May 2011!
Colm has been cast in Thor, the movie based on the Marvel comic about the Norse Legend.

What do you think? I, for one can't wait!

Colm and Donna Feore were interviewed on CBC Radio's Sunday Edition program, a couple of weeks ago, about Cyrano de Bergerac. The program is available as an MP3 podcast at this link, or go to the CBC past podcasts page, expand all, and do a search for "Feore" (there are a few other podcasts as well that will turn up in the search.) CBC usually takes the files down about 4 weeks after posting them, so if you're interested in listening to it, I recommend downloading it now, while it is still there.

Happy belated 51st birthday for the 22nd Colm!! From you adoring fans!!
The Stratford Shakespeare Festival lists some performances where some of the cast talks to the audience afterward. There are chats scheduled after the 8pm performances of MacBeth on July 17th, July 31st, August 14th and August 21st, 2009. So...perhaps this is a chance to speak directly to Colm Feore? Something to keep in mind if you're planning to see him at Stratford this year.

I went to see Colm Feore play Cyrano de Bergerac in Stratford. He was fantastic. Here's a link to the entry I wrote about it. And I'm excited to see this livejournal community about Colm Feore. It's nice to find people who would know what I'm talking about if I went on and on about how great he is. :)

GLOBE AND MAIL Review of Macbeth

Here is a Macbeth who first appears to us as an aristocratic action hero. As bullets whiz by him, Feore struts across the stage without a fret, picking off opponents with a rifle as nonchalantly as if he's out skeet shooting on a sunny afternoon. He is a war hero at this moment, not yet a war criminal – but you can already tell that he's most in his element in the killing fields.

Macbeth, The Listener, Colm and PicturesCollapse )</div></div>
You know what's coming June 4th?
The Listener.
Do you know who's in The Listener?
Don't tell me you don't already know.
Though aparently it's aired elsewhere. Has anyone seen it yet? Thoughts? Is there enough Colm in it? Because none of the websites of pictures of him which is their loss.
