There are so many things that go well together: gin and tonic, men and old age, and of course, our beloved Colm and Stratford.
Looks like he's going to be in Cyrano de Bergerac and Macbeth. Sounds tasty.

Him playing Cyrano seem like he's being miscast though...

Despite his swashbuckling heroism and rapier wit, Cyrano thinks himself unworthy – because of his enormous nose – to be loved by the beauteous Roxane. Instead, he uses his gift for language to woo her for his comrade-in-arms, Christian. But when tragedy strikes, will Cyrano take his secret to the grave?

One of the 19th-century theatre’s most heartbreakingly romantic tales, packed with exhilarating swordplay, grand passion and dazzling repartee.

Returning from battle, Macbeth encounters three mysterious women who tell him he will become king. Urged on by his wife, he decides to take his destiny in hand by murdering King Duncan as he sleeps. But as one atrocity leads inexorably to another, Macbeth finds that the choices we make can have unexpected consequences.

Plunging us into a nightmare world of eternal darkness and terror, Shakespeare’s great tragedy remains the definitive study of the descent into evil.

I'd apologize for the large pictures except I'm pretty sure you all want them.
Who's going?

Hey there, I'm yet another new member here. I've been a casual fan of Colm since Riddick, and have gone back catching what he's been in. This month, I watched quite a few films with him for the first time.

In no actual order of watching:
Caveman's Valentine/Sign of the Killer
Storm of the Century
Bon Cop, Bad Cop
National Security
Highwaymen
Thirty-Two Short Films About Glenn Gould (1993!!)

Rambling, followed by picspamming and more rambling...Collapse )

Well, I was thinking that as a group and as fans of Colm Feore we could probably have some kind of name for ourselves. For example, if you watch House you will know that there are fans of the House/Cuddy relationship. Those fans have aptly named themselves Huddites (of which I am one as well, tee hee). So I thought we might just do the same thing. I first thought of Feorite but that was just NO. So then I thought about Colm and his time at Stratford and his love of Shakespearean theater and thought of Feorean. Now I know that the “e” is a part of his name but I still like to pronounce it “Feore-ian” because it sounds nicer. A lot nicer than “Feore-an” although at first glance that's what it does look like it might say. I only really chose to spell it that way so it keeps in with the “ean” on Shakespearean and holds the symbolism. Anyway, share your thoughts! Is it a lame idea? Do you think it's a good idea and just want to change or alter the name? It's just an idea after all so don't get too harsh with me! :) xo

And this one is about Colm's photography. The picture's are really nice, taken with his Littman 45.  He got in this article because of what he did in the above video. A mention well deserved! Have fun with these!
